Family Lifestyle Photography – North Vancouver Family Photography
One of my favourite things to photograph is children exploring their environment. Finding things that interest them. Engaging with each other. These are the kinds of memories they will look back on and recall with a smile. These are the photographs that will make their mama nostalgic. These will remind them all that there is BIG LOVE here and it is EVERYTHING.
We live in the Pacific Northwest: lovingly called the great PNW. Even when the sky is full of our quintessential grey it is beautiful. Exploring with this tight knit unit early in the morning at Deep Cove was simply smashing! Yes, I typed “smashing.” Bringing that one back!
This Super Mama is raising her kids closest to nature. She is continually teaching them to love and respect the planet, nature, and in turn, themselves, and each other. You better believe they recycle, compost, and reduce, if not eliminate, their use of harmful materials, such as plastics and lead based products. It is all tied together in this never-ending beautiful cycle. Love the earth, love each other. Leading by example, she often takes them on hikes and nature walks on the shore to explore the habitat and tide pools. North Vancouver offers her this opportunity. With forest, mountains, and ocean surrounding it, I can’t imagine a better place for her to raise her children in this way.
Here is a snippet from that beautiful morning.
