What are lifestyle business portraits? Not so Corporate Business Portraits
Sometimes a business or company wants photos of their leadership team that are not so traditionally “corporate.” For example, portraits not photographed against a solid backdrop in a business suit. Less uniform. Furthermore, they seek natural corporate portraits that reveal personality. Business portraits taken on location in an environment. Definitely, that’s something in my wheelhouse: Corporate Lifestyle Portrait Photographer.
Do you work with Design Agencies? Toolbox Design for Townline Homes
Toolbox Designs reached out because my photography style was the right fit for their client. They were hired to redesign their client’s, Townline Homes, marketing material and website. For this session, I pulled in my business partner from my commercial brand Anita + Cherish so we could do this together.
What do you offer in your photography packages? Pre-Production
This included receiving a mood board from Toolbox. It also included a separate light test and location scout day. In other words, we work out our entire game plan, including creative and technical details, for 13 portraits and two group shots. At this point in time, our creative direction received pre-approval by the Art Director on the project.
What will the photography session be like? Production or Session Day
Working with an agency usually means every good shot we take is considered and a favourites list is compiled on-the-fly as the portraits are taken during the session. Since we already knew who we were going to shoot and where, it made it very streamlined. We had a schedule from which we worked from and switched up when necessary. This organization was absolutely imperative as we had 13 different schedules and a very large office space to work with.
Post-Production
My goal is always to be very flexible. Again, working together with the Art Director at Toolbox, we edited the portraits within the guidelines of the mood board. Additionally, we provided all further editing tweaks as requested specifically by the Art Director.
