Customized Creative Promotional Branding Photography

This is entrepreneur and motivational speaker Samantha Skelly. Sam approached me looking for promotional photography. She wanted creative business branding photography for the launch of her brainchild Hungry for Happiness. This included content for website, social media, and advertising assets. Samantha definitely had big dreams for this business.

The Process

The process was, as always, very collaborative. We spent a good amount of time talking about Sam’s journey. She explained who her client is. From these conversations came the idea of rising above a fog. Rising above fear. Above uncertainty and stagnation. Becoming a force of nature. Ultimately like the phoenix. Sam’s goal is to help her client learn to continually rise up no matter what brings her down.

Promotional and Branding Photography that must be FELT

Above all else, the photography for Hungry for Happiness must be felt. Moreover, they must weave together ideas such as peace, power, and love. The title naturally presented itself to me. My personal work is quite often influenced by the works of Dr. Maya Angelou. Therefore, not surprisingly the phrase “…and I Rise” just kept coming up. Thankfully, Samantha felt it was perfect. The end result gave us incredibly powerful photography with a message that packs a punch.
