House of Ladey – Fashion Branding – Lookbook Photography
House of Ladey founder and fashion designer Sabina Kasprzak is a woman whose designs are about simplicity, refinement, and details. One quick visit to Ladey’s Instagram page illustrates this.
The description on her website sums it up perfectly: “Sabina specializes in high-end ladies’ wear, and considers meticulous attention to detail, the pursuit of beauty, and a love for working with luxurious fabrics, a key element of her design aesthetic.”
This particular line of timeless and hand crafted pieces channel Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It is both classic and chic.
The Lookbook Branding Session
Sabina, a marketing professional, came prepared with exactly what she was looking for. She had a fully realized identity behind her. Most importantly, Sabina was interested in highlighting the garments in a chic and flattering way. I suggested we approach it two ways: Firstly, with the standard Lookbook or e-commerce images against a white backdrop, that she was looking for. Secondly, with accompanying images where we get to showcase her garments’ “meticulous details”, as well as, play a little more with emotion, look, and feel.
The key and end goal was to stay true to her brand and to highlight the garments in the same way: beautiful, clean, crisp, and understated.
