Women’s Intimate Portrait Photographer – on location – Vancouver, BC

Let’s call her R.

R and I connected via a Google search. As I always hope, she connected with my photography style and my philosophy. She’s all about the feels too! Incidentally, this connection is that extra little bit of fuel that sparks the magic that happens in front of the camera!

As per usual, I met with R. for coffee to chat about life, love, and how we both operate as human beings. Naturally, we hit it off pretty quickly. The more we talked and learned about where she was at in her life, the bigger the lump in my throat got! Oh yes, excited doesn’t even begin to describe it!

R. has lived virtually all over the world. She was relocating here to beautiful Vancouver, BC in the stunningly natural great P.N.W.! She’s lived in BIG cities and while she loved it, she also is hugely drawn to nature as well. The city of Vancouver definitely offers a lot of nature. Nature is so prominent here. It’s vast. Whenever you feel a little constricted, you really don’t have to go far if you are looking for a place to just inhale (deeply) and release.

R wanted photographs of herself to commemorate her birthday and this new beginning. How to describe what she was looking for? Well, the keywords I jotted down in my notebook included: with nature, freedom, empowerment, strength, quiet, movement and flow. Ultimately, a celebration of self, liberty, and LOVE. SIGN ME UP!

Seriously, this session was exceptional and this woman may just leave you a little breathless.
